Bya kahile? Shaadi kab hai? When is the date? Three different languages, all leading to the same meaning- when are you tying the knot?
I wanted to give a slightly humorous name to this blog because 'bya kahile?' is a very common term in Kathmandu where most aunties love, literally LOVE to shove it into your systems. The question starts coming in after one has completed graduation. Sometimes, it can come as soon as you hit your 20s. (Un)Lucky me, mine started at 18.
I still get the question a lot but it doesn't affect me anymore. The credit is to be given to my near and dear ones who have started to get hitched and how! Through this blog, I desire to capture the various wedding themes and sartorial styles of the wedding attendees and most importantly, the bride.
